This is the "Ridgeway Civil War Research Center", a research tool for educational purposes only, and is provided at no cost to the reader. Continental Army, USA with reeded border, one part white metal, (22mm)
Button depicts USA with letters in monogram style with reeded border, these were general service buttons issued to the Continental Army. Backmark, blank back with integral shank, white metal button, issued during the American Revolution. One part white metal button, coat size.

Dug button in superb condition, with shank.

French 64th Artillery, Yorktown (16mm)
Backmark: blank, French style 4 prong hook The French reorganized several of their units into the 64th Artillery regiment. This unit was at Yorktown for the final victory over Cornwallis. Shank intact, wonderful example from the American Revolution Recovered: camp near Yorktown Va Reference: Troiani page 166 item 64.d.
