B7445...Pennsylvania button, state seal horses with symbols of agriculture and commerce, staff officer, "JACOB GMINDER. / (star) (star) (star)" dm, (16mm). Button depicts state seal of Pennsylvania, two horses over a coat of arms with symbolism of agriculture and commerce, intended for officers of Pennsylvania militia units. Backmark: "JACOB GMINDER. / (star) (star) (star)" dm, inner ring of dots similar to a twisted rope, probably made by Steele & Johnson, dating uncertain, small size only, (GminderJacob110). Three part officer button, small size for hat or sleeve.
