New York sword plates pattern 667 to 675

Original was cast, with integral tongue.  There apparently were multiple manufacturers as there are more varieties than in the book.  Because it is a simple cast plate, it is popular amongst fakers

Plate 667, New York with stem above the Y

Plate measures 47.6mm x 78.2mm to 78.7mm, (plate is not square)

Editor note: Plate was obtained directly from Hanover Brass. This is reproduction of plate 667 , pattern has the stem sticking above the "Y"

F1240     New York sword buckle manufactured by Hanover Brass, pattern 668

Plate measures (46.2mm to 49.9mm) X (78.9mm to 79.2mm), (plate is not square)

Editor note: Plate was obtained directly from Hanover Brass. This is reproduction of plate 668 , pattern without the stem sticking above the "Y"  Note that original of this pattern had roman numerals used presumably for bench marks. This mark was apparently filed off of the casting master, this mlling work is apparent above the tongue.
