AUCTION IS FOR A VERY NICE GENUINE CIVIL WAR PERIOD US AMES OFFICERS SWORD. COMPLETE W/ ORIGINAL SCABBARD. SCABBARD HAS BOTH RINGS STILL AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE W/ A NICE PATINA. SWORD ITSELF IS IN NICE SHAPE W/ A DARK PATINA ON THE BLADE, BLADE IS MARKED AMES ON THE BLADE. BLADE IS A LITTLE LOOSE FROM THE HANDLE, BUT OTHERWISE IN NICE SHAPE.
