token 3 Regiment Ohio Cavalry, 16mm
The sutlers traveling with the army often made their own
script. Disc is inscribed: "JOHN T. METCALF / * / 3R.
REG / O. CAV. US. A. / 5 CENTS IN GOODS." Reverse
is plain., copper disk raised letters.
Dug copper disc, inscription is clear and
definite.
