F1471 CS two part buckle, Haiman style, manufactured by S&S Firearms Although a pretty plate, it is basically a fantasy. There are too many variations of Haiman, but I don't believe this is one of them. It is a nice durable piece for re-enactors, and made the way buckles should be made. Collectors will generally not be fooled by this plate and it was not made to fool anybody. Tongue keeper: 48.1mmWreath keeper: 48.7mmWreath height: 52.7mm Editor note: Plate was obtained directly from S&S Firearms, as a sample of their production to be used in this presentation.
