P2670 ### Hanover Brass repro: CS two part, Plain Artillery Style.
This is an example of Hanover Brass commercial grade reproduction, the plate has been produced in quantity, sold to the living history market, and is generally readily available. The product has also been used as feedstock for fakes, with chemical aging and other alterations. Gary Williams has provided the following pictures and explanation:

F1017 CS Artillery Plain 2 piece Belt Buckle manufactured by Hanover Brass This reproduction CS Artillery Plain Belt plate is a MUST for anyone who enjoys civil war belt buckles. It is cast in red brass and as close as you will get to the original. The CS letters was applied in the sand to make the CS artillery on the plain center. A rare belt plate. Artillery style. Marked as a reproduction. Wear or display.
