Smith & Wesson Model No. 2 Old Model Revolver, 32 cal.This handy little six shooter used the long all metal S&W cartridges, which means it could function in any weather conditions. Revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson, Springfield Massachusetts, those numbered up to 35731 (May 1, 1865) were manufactured in time to be used in Civil War and use as a personal side arm was popular, Marks: Top of barrel is marked, SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. Cylinder is marked PATENTED APRIL 8, 1855, JULY 5, 1859 & DEC 18, 1860. Backstrap is marked with serial number.
