W1198 ### Six shot revolver, pin-fire, Belgian origin. . The small revolver could be easily hidden and carried, this is the 19th century version of the concealed weapon, and was widely purchased for self defense.This six shot revolver employed a pin fire system of firing. This weapon is believed to have been manufactured in Belgium, based on the cartouches, and is well made, period of manufacture is estimated to mid 19th century, and approximates the Civil War period, but could have followed the war.Grips are molded hard rubber, and fancy.Octagon barrel is 5.6in, caliber and length would have been measured in mm.. W1199 ### Five shot revolver, pin-fire, Guardian American. . The small revolver could be easily hidden and carried, this is the 19th century version of the concealed weapon, and was widely purchased for self defense.This five shot revolver employed a pin fire system of firing. This weapon is believed to have been manufactured in Europe, and is well made, period of manufacture is estimated to mid 19th century, and approximates the Civil War period, but could have followed the war.Grips are wood, and fancy carved.Cylinder is marked : THE GUARDIAN AMERICAN MODEL 18?8.There is no trigger guard, the trigger folds forward when not in use.Octagon barrel is 3.4in Research Center: Weapon4810-Revolver-Pinfire .

W1251 ### Six shot revolver, pin-fire, Lefaucheux, 1852, 160mm barrel, 12mm. (sn# 33501) . The French revolver was well advanced beyond any of the American made revolvers of that period.This revolver is six shooter, a flap with a spring opens to allow quick and easy loading, ejector pin is mounted on the right side to eject the spent cartridges, trigger guard and backstrap are iron, grips secured with a single screw, swivel ring on the bottom could be used to secure a safety strap.Weapon is marked on left side with maker name, Lefaucheux and address, right side LF and serial number.Round barrel is 160mm Research Center: Weapon4810-Revolver-Pinfire .

W1252 ### Six shot revolver, pin-fire, Lefaucheux, 120mm barrel, 12mm.l.Round barrel is 160mm. More information is needed.Metal appearance pleasing with clean grey patina, wood grips solid with usual dings and scratches from use, cylinder scene is very strong, mechanics fully functional $700 (sn# 33516) . The French revolver was well advanced beyond any of the American made revolvers of that period.This revolver is six shooter, a flap with a spring opens to allow quick and easy loading, ejector pin is mounted on the right side to eject the spent cartridges, trigger guard and backstrap are iron, grips secured with a single screw, swivel ring on the bottom could be used to secure a safety strap.Weapon is marked on left side with maker name, Lefaucheux and address, right side LF and serial number, additional mark on barrel.Round barrel is 160mm. The French revolver was well advanced beyond any of the American made revolvers of that period.This revolver is six shooter, a flap with a spring opens to allow quick and easy loading, ejector pin is mounted on the right side to eject the spent cartridges, trigger guard and backstrap are iron, grips secured with a single screw, swivel ring on the bottom could be used to secure a safety strap.Weapon is marked on left side with maker name, Lefaucheux and address, left side frame with serial number.Weapon is fancy finished with extensive artwork on the metal and on the grips, a second number appears on the cylinder which may be a model number.Round barrel is 160mm, caliber approximately 12mm, to be verified Research Center: Weapon4810-Revolver-Pinfire .

These are antique collectible weapons of the Civil War (most are pre 1865, unless I state otherwise) and actual firing of these weapons is not recommended for any purpose whatsoever! Because these are all "pre 1898" weapons, no licenses are required for ownership, but common sense and good judgment should be applied.
