B6820-### Button-2603-USMA-globe-1part Cadet button with globe. Purpose is not determined, some collectors think it might be sample or prototype for West Point, if so it never got accepted. The globe suggests New York affiliation of some sort (West Point is in New York) but it could have been for a different cadet program that either never developed or was located somewhere else. USMA 1part-convex-small Tice-MA204-As01 Albert-SU004 Backmark-Scovill-JML-WH-173 "SCOVILLS / (repetition seven (star) and six (dot))", rm, inner solid ring, no outer ring, used on 1part-convex-small buttons, 1830s.
