Militia Unidentified 2part-coat Tice-UM206 Albert-UU022 Backmark-Evans-George-011 "GEORGE EVANS" (star) "PHILa (letter A is small with two dots under)" (star), dm, sans serif lettering, no inner ring, outer ring of dots, depressed shank well resembles an inner ring, used for 2part buttons, ca late 1800s.

BB0537-### Button-4180-Militia-not-identified Federal Army Officer button, 3part staff.. The 3part staff button was the primary Army officer's button used in the Civil War, following the Regulation of 1851. Use continued after the war, those produced after 1865 can usually be distinguished by study of the backmarks and history of the post war suppliers. Federal army symbolism, eagle with shield, arrows signalling war, and olive branch for peace.. 3part-coat Tice-UM240-A01 Albert-UU140 Backmark-Horstmann-Allien-021 "HORSTMANN. BRO &.
