Backmark: "Novelty Rubber Co" rmdc These hard rubber buttons were issued to members of the Brigade of Sharpshooters, which was directly commissioned by Lincoln to be organized by Hiram Berdan.Reference: Albert GI95, Tice SS215B1. Nondug button.
