Button was intended for Light Artillery and depicts LA, 1st regiment. Backmark: L. H. & S. / W. Ct. dm, manufactured by the partnership of Leavenworth, Hayden and Scovill, Waterville Company, around 1811 to 1820's, this partnership is the earliest of the Scovill partnerships. One part flat button, coat size, 20mm.
