Button2210-Federal-Ordnance-Scovill120 Federal Ordnance button. Backmark-Scovill120 Button depicts flaming bomb over crossed cannons and was intended for the Ordnance Department. Backmark: J. M. L. & W. H. SCOVILL / (star) WATERBURY(star) / EXTRA SUPERFINE (branches and flowers) dm solid middle and inner ring, Scovill manufacture 1830s. There is no outer ring and there could be a second inner ring, or this second ring was likely formed during assembly and is thought to not have been in the die design.
