SCOVILL / (dot) WATERBURY (dot) / EXTRA SUPERFINE (dot) (star) (dot) (star) (dot) (star) (dot) dm between solid inner, middle, and outer ring, flat back, Scovill manufacture 1830s. Stamping may be weak and some of the punctuation details may be obscured. Two part button, coat size, 21mm.

It appears that items 6 and 7 are the same back, the stamping on the flat back can be weak and some of the inner features can be obscured by brazing around the shank or outer ring obscured by the crimping of the rim.
