Backmark: blank back (no text), one part flat button manufactured 1830's or 1840's.There are many variations of the true blank back. The buttons of the 1830's were generally more thick and slightly larger than the 1820's, but otherwise a plain flat back with no markings is difficult to distinguish, one maker to the next. One part flat button, any size.
