North Carolina militia unit, button is believed to have been designed for a specific militia unit, but identity is not determined. This button depicts a pine tree and likely was manufactured by Wilmington Sword Factory. One part flat button.

North Carolina militia unit, button is believed to have been designed for a specific militia unit, but identity is not determined. This button depicts a pine tree and likely was manufactured by Wilmington Sword Factory. Backmark: blank back (no text), one part cast button, low convex, back may show marks from milling, footed shank is brazed, small North Carolina manufacturer. One part convex button, coat size, 20mm to 22mm.
