Texas button, state or Confederate cavalry. Confederate cavalry symbolism, letter C. Southern wartime manufacture. Button was wartime manufacture in Texas, bearing the letter C, most were issued to Texas cavalry units, however, these also could have been issued to general Confederate troops. One part button.
