I. K. H. Jansen, Rotterdam. This maker was probably a military goods supplier operating in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Backmark from this supplier shows up on at least one pattern of Confederate button. It is believed that this may have been a mismatched back used by an English producer, who made buttons both for the Confederacy and for this Rotterdam producer. It is unlikely that this producer actually supplied buttons to the Confederacy, but they could have.
