Federal Infantry buttons, officer. Many different die designs, usually eagle with shield, arrows for war, olive branch for peace, along with flags or other patriotic symbolism. The shield may be in front of the eagle, or above, beside, or below. Some will bear regiment designation, others were issued in blank with regiment to be engraved or otherwise filled in. One part button.
