Button4931-Michigan-UniversityMichigan-000 University of Michigan. Michigan school button, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Button depicts the state seal of Michigan, surrounded by extremely wide rim bearing the inscription UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN. The state seal used on this button matches a Scovill die used for other Michigan staff buttons. It is believed that this button was made either for a cadet program contemplated or could have been used by a member of the faculty, with a military orientation.
